Steve Norris, Director and popular guide for Trips & Tramps has recently picked up 2 awards.  These are well deserved and we congratulate him.

2009 Southland Individual Services to Conservation Award

Steve won “for his consistent and dedicated leadership in community conservation efforts, his tireless enthusiasm as a keen conservationist influencing tourists, Kepler challenge runners, friends and family, and for being instrumental in pest-trapping programmes".

2009 Destination Fiordland Tourism Personality of the Year

Awarded to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to tourism in Fiordland during the past year, Steve was noted as being a deserving recipient.  Well known and respected for his community involvement and support of numerous conservation efforts.

Trips & Tramps recognised as a Shining Sustainability Star in Southland

Recently Trips & Tramps was chosen to be a case study for the Sustainable Business South project.
