Milford Track Great Walk

If you love exploring beautiful places on foot, there’s a high chance you will have heard of the Milford Track. New Zealand’s most famous (and most loved!) walking trail, the track winds its way past lakes, up and over mountain passes and within touching distance of misty waterfalls; finally finishing up at Milford Sound itself. All up, it’s a 53 kilometre (32 mile), four day hike, but there are plenty of ways to get a taste of the Milford if walking the whole track isn’t your cup of tea.

Our Milford Track guided day hike options begin the trail from the Milford Sound end, at a place called Sandfly Point. Easygoing and enjoyable, it’s a fantastic way to get a feel for the beauty of the track.

We offer small group or private Milford Track day walk experiences. Our Trips & Tramps nature guides really help to enrich the time you spend on the trail. This is a place steeped in rich history and stories; and the flora and fauna is unique and special. Having a passionate local guide to learn from and ask questions means guest enjoy a deeper, more enriched Milford experience.
